Fees depend on the procedure, how long it takes and the type of anaesthetic. They cannot therefore be quoted in advance: they are set at the consultation, once the request has been assessed.
A written quotation, required by law
For any aesthetic surgery, you are given a detailed written quotation at the consultation. It separates the surgeon's fees, the anaesthetist's fees and the facility charges.
A fifteen-day reflection period
French law requires a minimum of fifteen days between the quotation and the procedure, and no deposit may be requested during that time. The period is yours: it exists so the decision can be made without pressure.
Reimbursement
Aesthetic surgery is not reimbursed by the French health system. Some reconstructive or functional procedures may be, subject to conditions and prior agreement. This is discussed at the consultation.
